Girdwood offers a bounty of both winter and summer activities, from downhill and cross-country skiing in winter to hiking and biking in the summer.
Girdwood is the ideal basecamp for your Alaska vacation, centrally located to some of the best fishing in Alaska, and only 20 miles north of Whittier and Portage, the launching point for glacier and marine tours and Prince William Sound. The Girdwood Suite Retreat is perfect for getting together with close friends or small, intimate weddings.
