Weddings at Girdwood Suite Retreat
The Girdwood Suite Retreat is a popular destination for small intimate weddings and rehearsal dinners for 20-60 persons and/or lodging for 4-16 persons. This past summer we have had 8 weddings and 6 rehearsal dinners at the Girdwood Suite Retreat. This has become a popular option for a variety of reasons, including: conveinent location, space, and the house is directly across from the new Girdwood Chapel!
Many parties over the years have had the ceremonies in the Girdwood Chapel and simply walked across the street to have the after weddings festivities at the Girdwood Suite Retreat. If you are planing on using a restaurant or the Hotel Alyeska your cost can exceed thousands of dollars. If you are looking for ways to save, then consider the Suite Retreat for your wedding (and save the money for your honeymoon!).
We provide you with an awesome location and space and everything you need to make a most memorable occasion. The House rental ($350 to $550 per Night) and party charge($300-$500, depending on group size) These fees are separate and there is a two day minimum stay. The cabin is also a separate, optional charge ($150.00 per night).

My husband and family enjoyed this place. It was like a home away from home. We used the house to do a small wedding and our guests were comfortable. It had 4 beautiful rooms and a loft with a bed to accommodate my family, the kitchen was fully furnished, so we didn't have to worry about bringing kitchen supplies and the living space inside was very spacious. The backyard deck was large enough to entertain and also had a hot tub and barbeque area. The big plus was the private cabin in the back that could sleep up to 5 guests, and it also had a mini kitchen inside which was awesome. I definitely recommend this house for weekend getaways and private events. Its a perfect place for your home base in Girdwood. I will definitely be coming back.
